Steward Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Centers’ world renowned surgeons have a unique dedication to patient care. We are committed to treating the entire range of bone and joint conditions - reducing pain, restoring motion, and helping patients return to their previous way of life.

Personalized Care Plans

We work with our patients to provide education and guidance throughout diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Working side by side with patients at every level allows us to create a personalized orthopedic care plan to meet their individual needs.

World-Class Care

We offer patients state-of-the-art orthopedic care for virtually any problem including total joint replacement, spine surgery, upper and lower extremity surgery, treatment for fractures, sprains and strains as well as comprehensive sports medicine services, and rehabilitative care.

Our orthopedists are also highly involved in conducting research on new orthopedic techniques and our physicians routinely lecture on recent innovations in their field. The orthopedists at Steward consult on a regular basis to bring the very best in orthopedic care to patients.

MakoTM is a robotic-arm assisted technology that helps surgeons provide patients with a personalized orthopedic surgical experience. A 3D model of the patient’s hip or knee will be used to pre-plan and assist surgeons in performing your joint replacement surgery.

When performed using robotic-assisted technology, the failure rate of joint replacement declines, as does the need for revision surgery. This significant improvement in patient outcomes is attributed to the precision with which the MakoTM technology positions the implant. This allows the surgeon to preserve as much of the patient healthy bone tissue as possible, an important factor if revision is ever necessary.
